Nobody Home

Places where someone should be, and isn't.

No monsters. No blood. Six rooms and roads where something has clearly just happened, or is about to, and you have arrived a minute too early or a minute too late. The threat is never in frame. That is the whole idea.

What's inside
  1. The Hallway — A suburban corridor at night, one door open at the far end spilling warm light onto the boards, and a long shadow entering from somewhere out of shot.
  2. The Drive-In — A couple on the roof of their car, silhouetted against the screen. Every other car is dark and empty. One pair of headlights has just come on in the back row.
  3. The Forest — Hundreds of trunks, one shaft of moonlight, antlers nailed to the bark, and two points of eyeshine set slightly too far apart to belong to anything you would want to meet.
  4. The Motel — Rain, a dead neon sign, an empty lot, and a single room lit from behind the curtain.

Plus two more in the same key.

Every screen, already solved

The work behind them

Every image is measured before it makes the cut, not just looked at. Dead black under 8% of the frame, so shadows still hold detail on a cheap monitor instead of turning into a hole. No clipped highlights. One light source per image, and one warm accent against the cold.

The drive-in came out of the generator with 41% of the frame as pure black and a couple who were brighter than the grass in front of them. It went back until the blacks held detail and the silhouettes read as silhouettes. The forest came back at 35.8% dead black with four glowing points instead of two eyes. Same treatment.

The thread

There is something repeated across all six. It is small, it is never the subject, and once you find it in one image you will go looking in the rest.

How the download works

You pay, and the download link lands in your inbox straight away. One ZIP with every resolution, sorted into folders by device. The link stays live for 30 days and works on three devices.

No account, no subscription, no app.

Licence

Personal use. Set them as your wallpaper on as many of your own devices as you like.

Not for resale, redistribution, printing for sale or any commercial use. If you want to use one commercially, ask — it's usually a yes.

Refunds

Digital files, delivered instantly — once the ZIP is downloaded the purchase can't be undone, so by buying you agree to waive the 14-day withdrawal right that applies to digital content in the EU.

That said: if a file is corrupted, a resolution is missing, or something isn't what the page said it was, tell us and you get your money back. No argument.
